How To: Move Windows 11 Taskbar/Start Menu Back to the Left

As we all know, Windows 11 introduced the new centre aligned taskbar. The very first thing that most people wanted to do was move it back to the left, but it does not seem to be immediately obvious how to do so.

It is actually quite simple when you know how:

  1. Right click on the taskbar
  2. Click “taskbar settings”
  3. Click to expand “taskbar behaviours”
  4. Scroll down to “taskbar alignment”
  5. Change “Centre” to “Left”
  6. DONE!
